How to remove unwanted boot menu entries in Windows 7

Do you just reinstalled Windows 7 in your Pc or laptop ? Then discover there are now 2 or more entries in the boot menu .The default loads of Windows 7 is 30 seconds delay.

Follow the step below to solve the problem.


1.Hide the entry

Click Start menu,right-click Computer and and select Properties .Click Advanced System Setting in the left pane then click Setting under Startup and Recovery.Untick time to display list of operating system and click OK.

2.Modify boot menu.

Download Easy BCD and install it.After that launch the program.Click BCD Backup/Repair and click Backup Setting to backup the boot menu.


3.Remove unwanted entry.

Now click the Edit Boot Menu.Select the default boot menu that you want ,then change the timeout options boot default OS .Then Save Settings to finish.Restart to see the effect.

This tutorial should be worked with other version of Windows such as Vista and XP also.
